How it works. 6 steps.
Everything air-dries. With Base Coat and Top Coat, the color lasts about 2 weeks, according to the manufacturer.

Step 1: Prep
File your nails, push back the cuticles, wipe each nail with rubbing alcohol.

Apply one thin coat and let it dry for about 2 minutes. On wet Base Coat, the color goes streaky.

Step 3: Shake
With the cap on, shake the pen hard and tap its end on the table a few times until the tip is full of color.

Start at the base of the nail and pull toward the tip in long, straight strokes. No dabbing, no circles, no back and forth.

- Best in the eveningPaint after you’ve showered and done the dishes. No water for the first hour, and no hot water until the next morning.
- Cap onClose the cap tightly right after painting, or the tip dries out. Store it somewhere cool, out of the sun.
- No color coming out?Close the cap, shake hard and tap it on the table. If that doesn’t help, store the pen tip-down for a while.
- Dry tip?Briefly swipe the tip over a cotton pad with a little nail polish remover.
